How many times have you dealt with the “ripoff report”?

I mean seriously.. in the Home Based Business industry I promise I hear about it every other day.

You may be thinking.. every other day.. REALLY??

Yes.. because I’m reaching new people every day.  People who have had horrific experiences in the Home Based Business industry.

See the thing about the ripoff report is that it is basically like this.. follow me now..

You are out chasing your dreams.. you come across a stranger! Let me clarify.  A stranger is somebody you do not know.

A person that has not asked you not one question.. they just SEE your hunger.

They do ALL the talking.. never listening to you.

They basically talk you into chasing your dreams with them..

You follow them.. never doing any research.. yet your dream is still in front of you.

All of a sudden you get this feeling in your gut.. because you realize you have invested money..

Yet you can’t see the same kind of investment taking place from the stranger.

Then it happens.. you notice that they are asking you to do something that they are not doing.

Finally you make the decision to quit following them.. you do your research just to find out.. you missed the ripoff report up front.

At this point you place your dreams on the back burner.. yet you are still looking for way out.

You seem somebody that you like.. you see they are living the dreams you sat down.. you decide you may join them..

Then you say.. “Show me the RipOff Report!”

So recently I have been purchasing some larger prices items.

I found myself wanting to find out what others thought about the product I was pondering on.

When was the last time you checked out a customer product reviews prior to purchasing?

Well, I just used them to purchase my vacuum cleaner.  Basically the customer product reviews helped me decided on the vacuum I know own.

My oldest daughter, the one who actually uses the vacuum for her chores.. smile.. says its the best vacuum she has ever used.  And let me tell you, this young lady has vacuum experience.

Now I have purchased so many vacuums that break after like 2 weeks of usage.

I spent about an hour reading the customer product reviews about the 10 vacuums that I was deciding between.

The greatest part is that Amazon has amazing customer product reviews on everything.

So once I decided on the vacuums I liked I was able to see what other customers thought about each vacuum.

Ok.. Ok.. yet are the customer product reviews really from ACTUAL customers??

Yes.. and you know they are.. cuz every time you make a purchase you have the opportunity to give your personal customer product reviews on that product you purchased.

See this is where I usually fall short. I rarely go back and leave my feedback.

I must do better in that area.  I must admit it feels good simply knowing that I can… lol..

I don’t know about you.. yet writing was not my first gift.

See I went to college for Physical Chemistry.. not English.. LOL..

It actually reminds me of this TRUE story.

I remember clearly being in High School.. busting my butt.. yes butt.. booty.. every piece of my body.

When I tell you I hated every second of it.

Now keep reading.. I know you are wondering what does this have to do with blog headlines.. well pay attention..

The day came when I had to go and take the actual SAT.  Now back then the highest score you could get was 1800.

900 for Math and Science, and 900 for Verbal.

A few of my friends and I showed up to take this crazy test.. that required so much preparation.

I go in.. feeling a little nervous.. I recall it was cold in the room.. plus it was early in the morning.. especially for a Saturday!

I sit down.. in my seat.. ready to go.. at this point I realize there is no turning back..

The booklets are past out… time started.. and finally it was all over..

Now of course it took.. what felt like years for the results to come in.

We had the times of our lives.. I was in 10th grade in the red, and in 8th grade in the white and gray.

I had no idea what the change that makes money would be in my life, as it is different for each person.

It depends a lot on how we were raised.

Yet, let me be completely honest.. once I realized the change that makes money, it doesn’t mean I ran into change mode!!

NO, actually I tried every detour I could locate.

Why?

Well the change that makes money simply seemed like something I really was not willing to do at that time.

Well, I’m here to tell you that frame of thought couldn’t be further from the truth.

The change that makes money is more internal.

It’s more about your mindset, about your character. Here is another picture of a few of my friends.. it was a few years ago.. yet we’ve known each other since we were like 12 years old.. lol..

Every Change Is Worth It When It Makes Money And Brings Indescribable Joy!

After a life of many smiles.. many tears.. many changes.. many sacrifices.. and many New understandings..

There comes that moment when you can not take your past experiences for granted.

Are they always bad?

No!

They were awesome, yet some didn’t always end so well.

For me, I personally have two lovely girls yet I still live a single life.

Do I credit that from making poor decisions in my past?

That is a hard one to answer, because honestly if I was placed in the same situation again, knowing that it would end up like this..

I would do it exactly the same way!

Yet I live in the now!!

I live for a better tomorrow, and I made my decisions based on who I am.. no apologies, no regrets.

Only Joy.. See today.. I’m a stay at home single mom!

Yes single.. yet I love my life..

I love me..

and I love those around me.

I’ve been in relationships where I felt like crap and didn’t have any joy!!

So I rather stand where I am now..

Yet, experience shows me that there are certain things simply not meant for me!

And I have to be okay with that.

See through all this change I’ve realized one very important thing!!

I’m grateful, and I’m okay with where I am.. and I also know that the best is yet to come!!

Because someone needs to know that no matter what it seems like you are giving up.. there is so much more for you!!

And honestly it may feel like you are giving something up..

Faith That Moves Mountains

Is there room for Faith in your business?

Well, if you haven’t asked yourself this question, you should.

Do you honestly have “Faith” that your business will succeed?

Well let’s start with the definition of Faith.

Webster dictionary states that Faith is a firm belief in something for which there is no proof and something that is believed especially with strong conviction.

The Holy Bible states that Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

Now back to the initial question. Is there room for Faith in your business?

Absolutely, you really can’t have a successful business without faith.

Many times we run into our business with one focus… the “payday”.

We follow the steps given to us, rather right or wrong in hopes of that “payday”.

Now, your “payday” may be a vacation for your family, it may be a physical check, it may be a desire to belong… either way whatever the “payday”.. we run toward it with blinders.

Then that day comes along when everything that can go right doesn’t, and everything that can go wrong does.

You are stuck in a position when you have to decide rather that “payday” is worth the trouble.

You have to decide rather you are going to continue on this uncomfortable journey for a “payday” that you have never seen.

That “payday” that you don’t even know exist. All of a sudden a need for faith has peaked in your business.

When Faith In Business Is All You Are Missing The Change Is Clear

Faith is so important in business that Napoleon Hill dedicated Step 2 in Think and Grow Rich to Faith.

Mr. Hill stated that, “Faith is the starting point of all accumulation of riches!”

Once you decided to go into business, you basically made a decision to believe in something that did not yet exist.

You had the Faith to push forward. Sometimes we are side tracked and we forget that our Faith can take us through any situation.

Even Napoleon Hill points out that without Faith you have basically skipped a VERY important step in finding success in your business.

Now that you know Faith is necessary in order to have success in business, how much Faith do you have?

In Matthew 17:20 Jesus stated,

“if you have Faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.”

Now that is powerful.

The Ability To Build Powerful Faith In Your Life And Business Will Change You And How You Deal With Everything Around You.

 

Each day I wake up and begin my day knowing that my Faith will take me to the next step of success in my business.

I’m reminded daily of the reasons why I’m building a business.

Why I’m a business owner.

Why I do not have to clock in to a boss each day.

How am I reminded, you may ask..

Well, I have a list written out that states about 15 reasons why I am in business for myself.

I add to it every time I cross an accomplishment off of it.

All of the items listed are things that are “unseen”.

Yet, as I cross items off I’m reminded that there was once a day when I could not see those items.

If you find yourself getting stuck and not able to overcome an obstacle that makes it appear as though the things you are having Faith for are too hard to attain, simply complete the faith assignment below.

Stunning Truth About What Happens When You Let Go Of The Rope

Let Go Of the Rope!

How many times have you heard this phrase..if ever? Well I have heard it many times, and honestly I have let go of the rope many many times.

Sometimes I wonder how I’m actually visible with all the times I’ve let go of the rope.

See it is really easy to see somebody else holding on for dear life to a state of mind, an idea, a misunderstanding, or simply holding on to lack of understanding.

Yet we have to take time to look in the mirror and see where in our lives we need to let go of the rope.

I just recently Let Go Of The Rope and it felt like the picture below…

I felt FREE..

and then I thought WHAT DID I JUST DO!!!

Yet ultimately..

there was no going back.. can’t fly..

so I just went with it..

and honestly I have never felt so FREE in my life..

Is fear holding you trapped in your current circumstances?

If so..

Let Go Of The Rope!

Are you in a job where you have exhausted all of the areas available for growth, and you know that you are far from finish growing?

If so.. Let Go Of The Rope! Are you in a relationship that you know is not healthy for you? If so.. Let Go Of The Rope!

Yes.. you may have Let Go Of The Rope before.. no one said there was just one rope..

I realized this time around that I have let go of many ropes before.. and you know what.. that is okay.

If you have let go of ropes before then remember the Freedom on the other side of that thing. Focus on the end game.

Focus on the joy of knowing that you are strong enough to step into your FREEDOM.

See many of us are tied down by choice.

Yet I know you reading this post are not one of those.

Many are too afraid to step into their destiny..

I know that is not you.

Many will not have the strength to simply Let Go Of The Rope and will continue in the cycle that they are currently in..

I know that is not you.

As The Decision Is Made To Start A Blog.. The Saga Will Continue!

 

Have you ever noticed that when it comes to how to start a blog, everyone has their own opinion.  ‘

I mean you can literally speak with about 10 people and get 10 totally different opinions on how to get it in.

I was actually on a plane to Miami back in January.  I was sitting in my seat.. finally catching my breath, ready for take off.

It kind of sucked as I had the middle seat.. yet hey.. you got to get what is available when you wait last minute to get your flight.

So I’m sitting there.. and the lady on my left is real talkative.  Which is cool.. I mean I’m kind of talkative.  And then all of a sudden as I’m looking at her talking..

Ok.. yes I just said looking at her.. cuz I’m not going to sit here and lie to you and say I was listening to a word she was saying.. lol.

All of a sudden she asked the question, “What do you do?”.. Now yes there was a pause.. as it took a second for what she said to get to my brain as I was just

looking at her not really listening.. lol. I reply with, “Oh.. I’m a  blogger”.  Now little did I know that the lady sitting on my right was listening to all of this and….  At that moment,

she chimes into the conversation with.. “Wow.. I’m a blogger too”.  Now here is where it gets kind of interesting… now I’m all ears.. listening to everything.

WHY?

Well even though I didn’t know this lady.. I’m expecting to learn something.. even she just start a blog.. I’m always ready to learn (yes that was a nugget.. smile)

Ready To Start A Blog…  Well Pay Attention

So now the lady on my right and I are getting to know each other.. and the lady on the left is still listening in.

The lady on my right is a fashion blogger.. and come to find out.. she has been in the game for YEARS!!

Not only that.. yet she is one of the top 3 bloggers in Atlanta!

We were both on the flight heading to “blogging” events.  Now here is where it got real interesting.

We pulled out our iPads and started pulling up our sites.. Now I also pulled out my notepad, as I knew it was time to get some notes from this lady.

She started talking about all she was learning about traffic and tracking and marketing.. which I pretty much knew about.. yet I listened as if it was the first time I heard the information. See you have to know when to humble yourself so that you can get the information you know.

She talked about how she blogged multiple times a day. Something different from what I was taught about how to start a blog.

She shared about all the opportunities that have come her way over the years all because she made the decision to do something that others simply were afraid to do.. or refused to do.

She shared the sites of her partners with me.. told me a few things about placing ads on the blog.. told me how to get free stuff as your blog grows.

Now this happened in January 2014.  In May 2014.. I received a box of free goodies.. because I opened up my mind about what blogging can do for me..

How To Blog Is Not The Question…

How many times have you heard someone ask the question about how to blog in this crazy internet world.. Where no matter what.. Content is king!

Honestly when I first started blogging back in late 2008.. I had no idea what would come of it.  I simply knew that EVERYONE who was having success was a blogger in some shape form or fashion.

I knew my success would depend on rather I excelled at blogging.

See I used to ask many about how to blog so that I would get the results I desired.. yet was I asking the wrong question..

The Right Question To Ask On How To Blog For Income Is…. 

Ok.. the best way to explain how a question can be the wrong one is for me to to tell you this story.

There was an Intercessor in Wales, named Rees Howells,  in the early 20th century.

Another name for an Intercessors is a Prayer Warrior.

God gave Rees a challenge that seemed obscure.  He was to pray for the son of a benefactor who had gone off to war and fallen away from God.

Rees accepted the challenge agreeing to pray that the young officer would not return to the front without returning to God.

(Now we already know that when God challenges us to pray for a soul that has fallen away from him.. that the ultimate goal is that the soul return home).

Rees would work in the coal mines from 7am – 4:30pm, six days a week.

He would then come home, eat dinner, and go to his room and spend  from 6pm to 9pm on his knees before the Lord reading his Bible and praying for the young man.

He did this for six months.

In that time the young officer was discharged from the army and moved to Canada, never returning to the front, but also not yet returning to God.

Rees believed he had accomplished the challenge and reported that the work had been done in the spirit.

It took 12 years before the young officer turned his life back over to God.

Now even though the young man did not go back to the front lines and discharged in that 6 month period.. the ultimate goal of salvation was not realized for 12 years.

Is it possible that Rees was focused on the wrong thing.. or maybe simply didn’t focus on EVERYTHING.

Just like when we ask how to blog and we get all the steps needed to actually become a blogger.. yet we never ask the question of..

Look I’m going to give you the answer the the question “Can you earn money on Istagram?” yet first lets go through a few things I know are going through your mind right now.

See there are so many different ways to earn money on-line.  Yet even more important so many ways to market YOUR product on-line.

Follow me for a second.. as when I first asked the question “Can you earn money on Instagram” I was speaking with a killer marketer that I know.  She is always up on the newest technique.. I swear this chick dreams in html code.. yet that’s an entirely different story.

Now as she looked at me with this crazy look.. you know that look of.. why you asking me questions you already know the answer too!! Did I kind of want to roll my eyes and walk away.. maybe.. you are not going to get me to tell that here.. lol.  Regardless of what I may have wanted to do.. I couldn’t deny the fact that she was onto something.. something GREAT!

Yet, I wasn’t just going to let her know this.. yet how did I know?? Well as a business owner with a product the main thing that I must always do is work to get my product in front of those that actually need what I’m offering.  The way to find as many people as possible in order to find out who needs my product.  So the next question is where are the people and how can I best get their attention.

Well it wasn’t long before it was very obvious that many people were on Instagram.. which led me to ask my Killer marketer friend, Can you earn money on Instagram? See I tried a few techniques yet was not getting the leads I desired from what I was doing.. so I went back to what I knew.

How many times have tried to figure something out on your own.. and then find out.. that there must be some secret sauce.. cuz you are not having success.

The next step is simple…..

So I took “the look” like a WARRIOR!! And there was a moment of silence between us.. I could tell she was thinking rather or not to tell me.. yet I kept my mouth shut! Ever heard that saying “First one talks loses!” Well I had said my piece it was time to hear the answer.. and what I learned BLEW my mind!
